Rev. Dr Dani Treweek studied at Moore Theological College (Sydney, Australia) before spending nearly 7 years serving as part of a church ministry team. She has since completed a PhD focusing on a theological ethic of singleness, and is passionate about equipping the church with a biblically faithful understanding of the place of singleness within God's purposes and Christ's body. Her book, The Meaning of Singleness will be published with IVP in Spring '23 and she is the founding director of the Single Minded Ministry. She is a deacon in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney where she also serves as the Diocesan Research Officer. She has a self-confessed obsession with Les Miserables (the musical, not the book!), doesn't drink coffee (but loves a good chai), and rejoices in being an aunt to Matthew, Benjamin (who is already safe at home with Jesus) and Emily.
Dr. Dani Treweek will visit VBC as a special guest speaker, all the way from Australia! She will talk about the goodness of singleness and recovering a biblical perspective and culture in the church on singleness. Dr. Treweek has some amazing resources that you can check out prior to our evening discussion:
